This year is the year for moving. Rather you are in the housing market or commercial real estate market, this year has caused many reasons to change locations. The reason for this is the lowest interest rates of all time and the lack of employees being able to actually go to work. Studies found quickly that people were just as productive while working at home and the cost of an office was no longer needed for many companies. Now our company decided to downsize and we moved after the regulations in our state lifted and we were allowed to come back to work and also move. We ended up purchasing a lot of products in order to get all of our gear, supplies, and office supplies to our new office. We wanted to do this the best way possible and our search led us to a really cool kind of company. If you are in need of lots of moving products there are several places you can look. The first place we went to was a local big box supply store. They are all around and they mark up prices by a large amount. We needed boxes, crates, and packaging supplies in order to get everything ready and the cost was really high. We were sitting in the aisles looking at our phones and wondering what we were doing there. We nicely put all the items back and decided at that moment that online was the way to go. So we went back to the office and started an corporate Amazon cart. We put in boxes and tape, and crates and so many other things. The organizational items seemed to be the ones we needed and the shipping on most of them was the next day. But something didn't sit right spending thousands of dollars for a move. So this led us to look at moving companies that would do all of this and provide the materials. We looked at local moving companies that brought their own boxes and crates and shopped around. After putting many of them against one another we got them to be just a little more expensive than Amazon. This was originally going to be the best step. We could pay others to do it and spend the same amount of money. It was going to be the plan until we shopped around and found a packaging supplies store online. This type of store was a direct manufacturer and they sold all the items we needed for the move. I put them in the cart and found that there were bulk discounts for different items. Thinking this was basically a business deal I called them up and started talking to the customer service agent. They were amazing and told me I should swap out some boxes and tape to save money. Then they said if we bought it all together we would get a discount on top of the prices. Instantly, I was intrigued and then it turned out to be half the price of amazon with better products. It sold us. We canceled all the items in the cart and got them shipped from this specialty company. I suggest if you are in need of bulk products like this to go direct. Prices are better and so is the service. We moved happily and for a lot less.

This year has been crazy. Yes, with current situation going on but it has been so much busier because we ended up following the housing market. With interest rates so low and homes popping up and moving fast we decided to move into a nice location with a home that needed some work. It has taught me so many different lessons and I have decided that Youtube Premium was the best investment of the year due to all the home fixes and tutorials I have used over the year. So with all the work that has been done I have discovered that there are so many things that are needed to work on a home and to be able to not be hindered and running off to a store every other weekend. So I want to go over a few strange things I learned and that kept me from being in trouble or wasting gas money and time running to the store each week or 4 times a day. First and foremost the need for packing tape and duct tape are paramount. I have used these two items over and over for quick fixes and long fixes. I remember painting the exterior of the house and multiple times the height of our house was an issue. We had extendable poles but some times we needed to get a fine brush in some crazy areas. Up on top of 20-foot ladders with 20-foot extendable poles there would be a paintbrush duct tapes and packing taped to the end. Yes, it looks insane when you see it but it certainly worked. It was much better than paying 59 dollars for the correct tool when 5 minutes and some duct tape with a bit of that good packing tape saved the day. So I highly suggest purchasing a big supply of packaging supplies to keep your house covered. I also suggest going to a packaging supplies store to go and get it. The cost of these two types of tapes and well boxes and bags are simply cheaper at these stores. Buying these at your local hardware store is not the only game in town or getting it off Amazon. There are cheaper options and I think buying from the main company and not a middleman or the third middleman is the better way to save money. So stock up on half a dozen or a dozen rolls of each of these because you will need them. Now another tape that saved my home and I mean home was teflon tape. This is actually a plumber tape and my father told me about it and got me a roll for doing plumbing work. If you ever get a leak this is a super thin tape that goes on the threads to make sure the threads on older pipes or just not well-cut pipes don't leak. Our refrigerator had a thread issue and the water supply from the well was direct and never able to be shut off. So this was the most important thread in the home. It was leaking and luckily my Dad had given me the tape needed. It is worthwhile to have these supplies on hand. They are great for keeping your home safe and from having you make extra trips to the store to fix a problem. If you have success in controlling and handling a package line, it's because you're focused and driven. You've managed your goals and collected information to give you an analysis of how well things are going. You seemed to make everyone's day much better, especially your boss' day. You're doing well in the industry and for that it's time to say congratulations. You understand how the huge risks could cause havoc in your performance. You've carefully examined how a production or package line should go. For that reason, you've been diligent in keeping up with the demands. It may be time to use some more experts that could help to bring your package line to a higher level of safety and quality. You may take the time to review everything that you've done to keep things running smoothly. It's easier for you to reach those certain levels after you've done your own investigations as well. If this sounds like your days at work, you've become successful! In most cases, you can still improve your package line somewhere. It may improve by 20% depending on how well you investigate. If you bring in experts, they may be able to spot things that you've overlooked. It's not that you're not handling your line, it's that you always need an extra pair of eyes to see your true vision. Within the improvements, you could end up saving a ton a money per year. In fact, you should be able to see the difference in a monthly time frame. Waste could be very well the way to reduce your costs. If you can still find value in some of the things that you have thrown to the side, you may be able to increase your production line's quality by that 20%. You can always look to see if you're using the right sizes on your production lines or package lines. It could keep that wasted material from being thrown in the dumps. A shrink film gauge needs to be the correct size in order to save the money that you desire. You don't want to waste any time or money dealing with the wrong size. That could save you around $1000 per month. Gauges come in different sizes and can be used to strengthen a package line. It's important that you always use the right size gauge. You can check those before you get started with your day's work. That way, you can start saving the money that you desire. Your operations will be up to par. You won't have to worry about losing any of your production. Therefore, you'll keep your clients happy with the work they'll be receiving in the future. You should always want your customers to be happy with what they'll be receiving, especially since you'll probably be working through contracts. Your pallets should be the first thing that you recognize when it comes to safety. If your gauges are correct, you should use the best quality to get your job done. |
